Well where to start. Covid-19 definitively threw a wrench in our plans for 2020 but some good still managed to come out. We’ve enjoyed hearing from all of you through our blog and hope to continue to offer more monthly content. Although we have been unable to host any in person conferences, we are working hard to organize something virtually, likely in the form of webinars and online education. If anything, this hardship has reminded us that this group is more than just education and updates.

We know that mental health and well-being are vitally important with the stressors from the pandemic. It is our vision that the PANAnac community be one of support for each other, not just in the educational field but also fostering positive mental well-being. We realize it will still be awhile before we can meet in the way we are accustomed to and know that this has been hard on everyone. Some of us are still currently redeployed to support ICU’s/other units and this uncertainty takes a toll over time. We are amazed at the resiliency and adaptability our members have demonstrated and continue to show… we couldn’t be more proud!

This year we hope to bring to you:

  • Monthly content online
  • Access to journals and articles
  • Quicker responses on our blog
  • Live online webinars with presentations
  • Events (restrictions dependent)
  • A supportive community

Let us know if there is anything you would like to see more of this year!
